For almost a year now, most of the employees in our group of companies have been working from home. Due to the current contact restrictions, there is also an increasing lack of personal exchange between colleagues. Therefore, speedikon has started a virtual after-work event, which takes biweekly on a voluntary basis. The various events, such as a general knowledge quiz or, like last Wednesday, an online wine tasting, contribute to a cosy get-together and thus again strengthen the corporate culture of speedikon.<\/p>\n

Last Wednesday, the long-awaited online wine tasting took place, which was very well attended by the employees. Before the event, each employee was offered various types of wine to take home and taste during the event. We were able to convince Dr. Patrick Staub, Managing Director of Bergstr\u00e4sser Winzer EG<\/a>, for additional wine expertise. With the extensive expert knowledge, each participant not only learned something about the multiple award-winning wine varieties of the region but also about forward-looking research projects and wine experiments of the nearly 400 vintners’ families. Mr. Staub was thus able to introduce the already more than 100-year-old association of the Berstr\u00e4sser Winzer eG to the excited audience and was certainly able to win a few new wine lovers. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him once again for the great wine tasting. All participants had a relaxed evening and are already looking forward to the next after-work event.<\/p>\n
