Since the beginning of July, version 6.1 is available for installation. As usual, there is a lot of new functionalities that make speedikon C even better.
The central management of users for all productive systems makes life a lot easier for the IT divisions. Especially when employees are leaving the company or new ones are joining, specific mechanisms are required to make that process quick, easy and smooth. Authentification using Microsoft ActiveDirectory or AzureAD was already available in speedikon C, enabling the customers to operate a central user management system. With OpenLDAP, another method has been introduced and allows for additional third party systems to be authenticated against. In this course, users can also be generated automatically during their first sign on.
In IT Drag&Drop is the magic word when it comes to moving and assigning an object fairly quickly. Via customizing, dialogs can now be extended by an additional list field to which one or more attachments can be added at the same time. In this procedure, the system will check whether the attachment already exists, or, if not, it will be assigned.
Furthermore, in the scope of version 6.1, the service charge settlement will be delivered as a standard package and an integral element of lease management. A respective license is required to be able to use this package. It includes the necessary components, ranging from collection of costs and consumptions via the rule sets to determine the allocation key up to service charge settlement calculation for each and every agreement. The high flexibility of calculation mechanisms allows even very complex, multi-level service charge settlements.
Specific templates will be provided for the scheduler that allow to anonymize employees in the HR catalog. You can activate these templates in the system and subsequently adapt them to a certain extent, where applicable. Thus, you can easily meet your GDPR obligations without risking any damage on connected data.
Concerning variant planning, there is an enhancement implemented to accelerate the generation of a variant. This new function can be activated via customizing in the scope of a project.
