Our clients are mainly in touch with the speedikon group of companies through individual consultants, but who are the various other members of our team who are involved in our projects and keep the business running? In our series “Charly’s Colleagues”, you’ll have the chance to meet our other team members every few weeks.
Florian Rückerl talks about his tasks as a consultant and his current projects.
Florian, you started working with us as an IT consultant at the beginning of the year. How were the first few weeks at your new job and how did you settle in?
I settled in well during my first few weeks here. I was given a warm welcome and the team supported me right from the start. I particularly enjoyed the open communication and helpfulness of my colleagues, which made it easier for me to get started. As I had already dealt with speedikon FM AG in my previous company through a mutual customer, the software was not completely new to me. Overall, I feel comfortable and motivated to continue working on exciting projects.
What exactly are your current areas of responsibility and what do you like about them?
My current responsibilities include consulting and supporting the implementation of speedikon C for our customers. This includes analyzing the existing IT infrastructure, developing tailor-made modules and supporting projects all the way until their successful implementation. What I particularly like about it is the variety in the projects and the direct contact with the customers. It is exciting to solve individual challenges and thus improve our customers’ work processes. I also appreciate the opportunity to develop my professional skills.
Do you have any exciting projects that you would like to tell us about?
Thanks to my previous job, I am very familiar with graphics from AutoCad – the as-built drawings, so to speak, which then serve as a basis by importing them into speedikon C. For this reason, I currently have an insight into a wide variety of projects which I can support with my specialist knowledge. I enjoy assisting my colleagues and providing our customers with a graphical solution.
speedikon FM AG is based in Bensheim in the German Bergstrasse Region. What is your connection to the region and what do you like here?
I really like the region around Bensheim an der Bergstraße. The mixture of vineyards and the historic old towns is very close to the Palatinate (my home), which I really like.
