New features in 4.1

We have released our new version 4.1 of our C platform right on time for our technology days in two weeks.

In total over 100 new features are listed in the respective release notes. Some features are available for all customers automatically and some are activated via customising. The features are, once again, divided across all components, modules and sections – thus there´s something for everyone.

Worth special mention are the newly added graphical options. Even though our C platform should not replace a CAD software, we still think that some features are very beneficial in your daily use:

  • graphical ad hoc evaluations
  • separate command for marking deduction areas
  • rules for print functions/pdf saving – so lines can be printed divergent to the screen display
  • constrcution support: lines, etc.
  • editor for creating caption rules

Dashboard presentations are brand new: we have created an automatic presentation of a collection of dashboards which was a direct responded from us to a customer request.

In the section of the guidelines we have created list filters for the selection catalogues.

After numerous customer requests new standard tiles have been created: one for the import configuration and a further one for the configuration of the graphic toolbar.

The search engine has also been equipped with further features, which will surely make the practiced user happy:

  • the setting of the page size is now saved within the column configuration and the favourites
  • one functions allows repealing of the column sortings
  • there is also a new function within the menu Configuration. This function will activate the selection of a rule for colouring evaluations (list formatting). The rule can be saved along with the column configuration as a favourite.

Further features that partially build on modules or configuration packages have, of course, also been implemented in the new software version. A complete overview of the release notes is provided for all our maintenance and support customers.
